Todays readings was on Chapter 8. The chapter discusses about Exemplification : Writing with Examples. Exemplification means using examples to convince, amuse, or explain. Exemplification is used in ways of developing ideas, sentences or phrases. There are characteristics of a good example, techniques of finding the examples, and a number with limits of examples. One section of of the readings was mentioned. The section was for a class, but since we are doing it online, I answered it on my own instead. I read through the seven amazing stories and what they are is "Dropping way out" by Levine, "Little brother is watching" by Gall, "Who's change" by Lara, "Tortillas" by Burciaga, "Like for myself" by Angelou, "Traveling the world at home" by Yegavian, and last but not least, "Grading a professor's writing" by Arnold. After all that reading I answered the questions is the end. My task after reading all these great stories was to look through vocabularies, find the exemplifications, and just basically finding out what the whole essay was mainly about. See you all next class. Have a great weekend.
