Moodle Session, 03/09/2011
Today was another moodle session, this time it was about the topic Descriptive Narration. I like this topic alot because it explains the importance of the relationship between description and narration. Without each other, they would individually fail at their task of presenting a story to the audience. Not only does an audience want to listen to a story, they also want to be able to use their imagination to picture the situation or scenarios in their minds. The chapter talks about the five narrative patterns, which are Situation, Conflict, Struggle, Outcome and Meaning. The two types of description are called objective and subjective (also known as emotional) description. These elements are used to create a Descriptive Narrative. The chapter also emphasizes the Point of View, Dialogue and Order of a descriptive narrative.
