Feb. 14, 2011 - Stage Three - Writing Process

Today we have gone over Stage Three from the Writing Process and there are many things listed. This gave me an indication to write more abroad and detailed so that the reader will keep his/her full attention to what is being told. A certain slang used in your essay or paper may or may not throw off attention from the reader, so choose wisely what word you would like to use. The acronym: "CLUESS" which stands for Coherence, Language, Unity, Emphasis, Support, and Sentences found on page 54 - last sentence of the third paragraph states that these are helpful guidelines to writing a paper. Diction is what really caught my ear. You could have a whole paragraph stating the main topics but with no feeling, no emotion, no sense of vivid understanding of the main topic. This actually helps the reader see mental images that in research helps people remember what is being said.

Happy Valentines!
