The Writing Process: Stage 2

Today we learned the next stage of writing a paper. The writing process stage two is different from stage one. We learned what is a topic sentence for a paragraph and the thesis for an essay. Both of these two have a subject and a focus. I didn't know that there are three tools that can help you organize what you are going to write about. Listing, clustering, and outlining are the three tools that we can use. We also learned about what sentence is effective and ineffective. I thought that putting simple words in a sentence would be simple and understanding. But without the details in a sentence is would be an ineffective sentence. I am still confused how to wrtie a topic sentence but I will just read the book again untill i get it.
