Writing Paragraphs 02/21/2011

In this Chapter of " Writing the Paragraph", defines four categories in constructing a
paragraph- Introductory, Developmental, Transitional and Concluding.

Introductory: Thesis, Main Idea
Developmental: States an idea and support
Transitional: Brief, intermediary
Concluding: Quick wrap-up, final remarks

In addition, their are two standard paragraph formation.

Pattern A: Topic Sentence, support(s)
Pattern B:Topic Sentence, support(s), Includes Conclusion
